The Pro-Ject Phono Box S3 B is a compact and affordable phono preamp, perfect for your HiFi setup. Compatible with both moving magnet and moving coil phono signals, it has a dual mono layout, balanced inputs, and fully symmetrical and discreet circuitry. Designed to be as minimalistic as possible, the layout is spacious, with all the controls spread out at an even distance so they can be easily distinguished.

You can command the Phono Box S3 B to be compatible with any cartridge, offering ultimate versatility and high-quality audio output when connected to any equivalent analog HiFi system. The Phono Box S3 B has four gain options, four capacitance options and five impedance options to tailor it to different turntables, cartridges, and styli.

Housed in a robust steel chassis covered by sleek aluminium panels that provide electrical isolation, the Phono Box is as substantial as it is stylish. On the back of the preamp are the input and output connections consisting of two mono XLR outputs, two RCA out and in, and a stereo five-pin Mini XLR input. These connections are mono to ensure channel separation. You can use both channels as stereo left and right. Featuring an external power supply connected by a 12V DC input, the power supply introduces as little noise as possible to the preamp.
