The Arcam AVA15 is the entry-level model in Arcam’s next-generation Radia Series of AV amplifiers, designed to deliver high-performance audio and video decoding for modern home theater and media environments. Powerful Multi-Channel Class-D Amplification
At its core, the AVA15 features a 9-channel Class-D amplifier capable of delivering up to 100 W per channel into 8 Ω for two channels driven, and 75 W per channel with all nine channels active. This architecture delivers controlled power, low distortion, and dynamic headroom for both complex movie soundtracks and high-fidelity music playback. The unit can process up to 12 channels of audio for flexible speaker configurations like 7.1.2 or 5.1.4 Dolby Atmos layouts, allowing users to build immersive surround systems with height channels and additional subwoofers. 

Advanced Audio Decoding and Room Calibration
The AVA15 supports all major immersive audio formats, including Dolby Atmos and DTS:X, enabling rich object-based sound placement in three-dimensional space that places effects above and around the listener for true cinematic immersion. Built-in Dirac Live Room Correction provides precise frequency and time-domain tuning to compensate for acoustical room imperfections, while optional upgrades like Bass Control and Active Room Treatment (ART) further refine low-frequency control and spatial consistency. 

Comprehensive Connectivity and Streaming
Connectivity is another strong point for the AVA15: seven HDMI 2.1a inputs and two outputs support resolutions up to 8K/60 Hz or 4K/120 Hz, along with gaming-friendly features such as VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) and ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode). The AVA15 also accommodates wireless and network audio sources with integrated Apple AirPlay, Google Cast, Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect, Qobuz Connect, Roon Ready compatibility, and Bluetooth 5.4 with Snapdragon Sound and Auracast, extending seamless access to streaming services, internet radio, and podcasts. 

Intuitive Control and User Experience
Daily interaction with the AVA15 is enhanced by a vibrant 6.5-inch high-resolution colour display that clearly presents source information, volume level, and metadata. Users can control the system directly via on-screen menus, the supplied Bluetooth-backlit remote, or the Radia smartphone app for iOS and Android. Arcam’s thoughtful user-interface design and flexible setup options simplify installation, making the AVA15 both powerful and accessible for enthusiasts and first-time AV builders alike.
