Project Essential III A Turntable System with Pioneer A30 and Dali Spektor 2 Speakers and cables. Available with Online Finance and Free Delivery.
The Essential III A is pre-fitted with an 8.6” aluminium tonearm for its lightweight, rigid characteristics. The gimbal bearing assembly uses sapphire bearings to allow for smooth tracking across a record, and the supplied counterweight allows for a variety of premium pick-up cartridges to be installed. The tonearm is supplied with an Ortofon OM 10 cartridge installed. Superior to the Essential II’s OM 5E cartridge, the OM 10 uses an elliptical profile and precision micro-mechanics to deliver a nice, full soundstage with plenty of impact. One of the most obvious changes with the new model is in the use of an upgraded Acryl-IT E platter. Also available separately, the Acryl-IT E offers an inert platform for your vinyl records to reduce the unwanted effects of resonance. Available for use with and without the supplied felt mat, the platter uses a stainless steel bearing in a bronze bushing with Teflon-lined bottom for liquid-smooth rotation. The overall sound result is an open, exciting sound that arrives at a foot-tapping tempo. Full detail HERE
The 70wpc Pioneer A-30 Direct Energy Design amplifiers with Symmetrical Construction offer class-leading, high quality sound, wrapped in understated, technical elegance. The brushed aluminium front panel comes with polished-black, aluminium control knobs for Volume, Bass / Treble / Balance and Input Source adjustments, whilst a selection of blue LED buttons fine-tune Loudness, Speaker A/B, Power Amp Direct and confirm your choice of Input Source. The rear panel is designed to meet the audio requirements of multiple systems and provide immediate connectivity to Aux-In, Network, Recorder, Power Amp Direct, Speaker A + B and 'Source Direct Mode' devices.
Whilst still being a compact speaker, the What HiFi Magazine 5 star reviewed Dali Spektor 2’s larger inner volume delivers extra bass performance. The increased surface areas of the 5¼” woofer and 25 mm soft dome tweeter increases the overall sound pressure levels, making this the perfect choice for larger rooms that still require a compact speaker. By using only DALI designed and custom-built drivers, the need for frequency correction in the crossover is eliminated. This enables Dali to design an exact crossover which together with carefully selected quality components ensures that the signal loss is close to zero.
