Project T1 EVO Phono Turntable with built-in Phono Stage and Ortofon OM10 cartridge
T1 EVO - Your Introduction to Vinyl
The T1 EVO is based around its stylish CNC-machined plinth, featuring no plastic parts and carefully manufactured to ensure there are no hollow spaces inside, avoiding unwanted vibrations within the finished product. Even the power switch is moved to the side of the chassis to allow for a clean, elegant appearance.
Audiophile Engineering
Mounted inside the plinth is a precision belt drive system with automatic speed control for 33 and 45rpm, attached to a large sub-platter, which itself is engineered to the finest tolerances for stable mounting into the stainless-steel axle/brass-bushing main bearing. The sub-platter drives the heavy, zero-resonance glass platter with absolute stability, ensuring an ideal playback surface for vinyl records.
Cartridge & Tonearm
The tonearm on the T1 EVO boasts a one-piece aluminium 8.6” tube and an improved gimble bearing assembly with low-friction components for total accuracy in use. Supplied with an Ortofon OM 10 cartridge with elliptical diamond stylus for great sound, the tonearm is also pre-set for downforce and anti-skate settings, so there’s no need for any complicated set-up; you can get playing straight out of the box!
Easy to Use
The T1 EVO is effortlessly simple to set-up and use, regardless of the variant you’ve selected. Each T1 EVO turntable is made for music lovers, by music lovers. In an age where the market is once again awash with turntables, Pro-Ject Audio Systems are seeking to remain true to their audiophile roots, while listening to what customers want.
Your EVO, your way
The standard T1 EVO is supplied with fixed RCA cables, ready to connect to the phono stage of your choice, whether that’s an external device or one that’s built-in to an amplifier or active speaker.
The T1 EVO Phono features a built-in phono stage, which means you can connect it direct to any LINE or AUX input on your amplifier or speaker. With both the T1 EVO Phono and T1 BT, the phono stage is also by-passable, so you can still connect the turntable to an external phono stage as your system evolves and upgrades.
